CONGRATS ARC BAND SENIORS!!!!
Hello and welcome to the Academy of Richmond County High School Purple
Pride Band Website.
This years show is "The Music of Michael
Jackson", and will include, but not limited to the selections "Butterflies," "PYT," and the hit "Thriller."
This season
will emphasize the excellence of our marching band. Our performances will include home and away football games as well
as a few band competitions. The ARC Color Guard will perform with the marching band at all football games and band competitions,
showcasing the talents of its members.
The ARC Band Program features an outstanding concert organization in the spring.
Other ensembles such as jazz band, a percussion ensemble, a brass choir, and chamber winds ensembles may be offered in the
spring. The symphonic band has developed a reputation of musical excellence through concert and festival participation.
The symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and Percussion Ensemble will present several public concerts as well as assignments at the
District and State levels. The band is under the direction of Mr. Arthur Wright III.
